Why the Stigma Around Premature Ejaculation Can Be More Harmful Than the Condition Itself
A man may begin with a common, treatable condition. Public stigma leads him to believe he should be ashamed. He conceals the problem, convinced that no one else experiences it. He begins to expect judgement from others, even when none is expressed. Over time, those perceived attitudes become internalised, and his self-worth becomes tied to the condition.
At that point, the stigma is no longer coming from society alone—it has become part of the way he sees himself.
